As sun gives way briefly to cloud
The machine squats silently waiting
Worshiping at the altar of sky’s splendor
Ever so penitent and industriously reverent
We, too, stop to exclaim over this beauty
A simple arrangement of cloud, sky, and sun
Yet containing within inspiration of soul
More than simple physics can hope to touch
These moments, fleeting though they may be
Connect us all with the heart of our Nature
Her inspiration, love, and beauty contained within
Whispering hints of that which is yet beyond our ken

I am so impressed. This is incredible. You’ve pushed through something as a poet. This is on the other side. Truth and beauty.
I love the new header

Thank you!
I feel a bit more interested in truth and beauty now that I’ve cleared my head a bit. I just needed some inspiration and that photo came to me at the right time.
I got the header from the NASA web site. I love space imagery. That old header just wasn’t my style. It had to go.

Yes, the space imagery made me smile.
I’m not feeling inspired yet tonight. Daydreaming on how to decorate my new digs.

Ah, yes, real-life concerns will sap inspiration at times. I spent the past two days answering several hundred questions on eHarmony, so this poem was more or less simmering on the back burner. 🙂
Good luck with you new place, though. It’s a big step in your new journey.
